If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you’ll know that I love vintage pieces. There’s something so special about a piece of clothing that has aged gracefully and that has been able to transcend through time. While there may be tons of fashion faux pas that should remain in the past, we can all agree that structure shoulders suits/tops should not. Now, is this a suit or blazer?
Outfit Details
How beautiful is this suit? I found this suit at Goodwill and fortunately, it had the original lace hankerchief but unfortunately not the matching bottom piece. I’m guessing it had to be a pair of trousers but how awesome would it have been if it was a mini skirt!? Ok, enough fantasizing, lol. Clearly not having the matching piece did not stop me from buying it because I knew I could rock it either way. Its been pretty cold here so I paired the top with a pair of black wool pants. It was the perfect pairing because the top did not keep me as warm as I would have liked. I thought about wearing black stilettos but I ain’t basic so I paired it with my hot pink python heels and my brooks brothers bag A.K.A fake birkin, lol.
Top: Vintage Suit, $4.00 // Pants: J.Crew Wool Pants, $5.00 // Bag: Brooks Brothers, $5.50 // Thrifted Total: $14.50
