I’m actually glad that “Athleisure” is a thing now because I don’t look so out of place wearing leggings or sneaker’s while running errands. Before, Altheisure was a serious thing in the fashion world, I think we call partook in this, we just didn’t call it that. I use to call it, “house clothes” or errands clothes but it seems now there’s a whole industry/section of fashion/style that has been dedicated to this. I haven’t really purchased a lot of pieces dedicated solely for this because I have plenty of workout pieces to choose from. I did however, purchase these specifically for this because these are pretty freaking cool.

As some of you may have realized, I don’t really shell out the big bucks for clothes because 80% of my closet is thrifted. I am very frugal when it comes to spending money on clothes but that’s not the case for my shoes. I splurge on shoes, especially if its running shoes. Running is my favorite form of cardio and I prefer to run outdoors, so I look for really comfortable, lightweight and durable shoes. These were my Christmas present, but I originally purchased the Nike Air Vapormax in the triple noir but after one gym session I had to return them because THEY were tight. I ended up returning them and exchanging them for the Nike Air VaporMax Utility, half size up and they were perfect. Since I’ve only worn them to the gym, I decided to wear them for a more casual look, so I paired them with these Nike wet-look joggers and this grey Banna Republic caged faux-leather sleeve top and black hoodie. I added a high messy pony tail and a nude lip to keep things casual.
Thrifted item: Banana Republic Top, purchased at local thrift store: $3.00
