Spring is around the corner ( 10 days away actually) for a lot of those that live north of the border. For those of us that are fortunate enough to live in warm states, spring has actually been around since like December, since our “winters” are more like spring weather. I wanted a look that would welcome spring in open arms and what better way to say “hi!” than in pastels. I am actually looking forward to spring since it is my favorite season!
Outfit Details
This gorgeous dress was actually purchased at Goodwill and I love everything about it. It is a form fitting dress that accentuates my curves nicely and the color really compliments my skin. The coat was another Goodwill find that I am absolutely in love because of its beautiful embroidery detail. The biggest splurge here was the shoes. Although, the term “splurge” I use loosely since the shoes were only $60 ( about 50% off retail ). I wanted to add a bit of shimmer and contrast to this outfit and that is why I did wore these shoes with it. I think the gold accent with the pastel is definitely a nice mixture.
