Neutrals

When in doubt, wear neutrals. That is the rule I have made for myself when I have absolutely no idea what to wear and just want to rush out the door. My second rule? When in doubt, wear a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. This could be any t-shirt and jeans really. Finally, my last rule: when in doubt, wear heels and a jacket ( just in case it gets chilly). Of course, if you are going somewhere extremely casual then wear comfy shoes but do take your jacket. This is a simple look that can be pulled off any day really. It requires minimal effort, its simple and it doesn’t look like you tried too hard, which in my case, I didn’t.

The Outfit:

The jeans I bought at the Gap last year and it is their boyfriend jeans. I did not buy them ripped like that actually. What really happened is I have the biggest tights and knees. Whenever, I bend or crouch down the small tear that they had turned into a huge tear. Luckily, I don’t care so I think they accidentally turned out pretty well. I paired the jeans with a simple tank, a jacket and these gorgeous heels I scored at Steve Madden two weeks ago for $19.99. Lucky girl. The purse happens to be my favorite. I bought it a thrift store for $2.00.

Outfit Total: $47.50

  • Tanktop: $10.00
  • Jeans: $12.00
  • Shoes: $20.00
  • Clutch: $2.50
  • jacket: $3.00

Happy Fashion.
