High-waisted denim

I have a thing for high-waisted jeans. I love them and I think I might love them a bit too much. I swear I have them in every color and shade possible( ok, maybe a bit exaggerated). I like that fact that they can be flattering and of course they hide my tummy so that is a plus. I was feeling a bit adventurous the other day and decided to take the the plunge and wear a crop top with it. I swear I don’t know why I was feeling confident but I did it. I report and say, it wasn’t too scary or too bad. The hat, if ya’ll can recall I posted it a few months ago on my Monday’s cravings segment ( which I promise to start rolling out again). I bought the hat for $9.99 at Urban Outfitters for their Black Friday savings, the hat was originally $39.00 and I am glad I only paid $9.99. While the hat is cute, I don’t think it is actually worth the extra $30.00 – to me, and this is my personal opinion – it is too “costume-y”. With this being said, I like it but if I was looking for something more durable and I would definitely not consider this one.
