The Velvet Little Black Dress – Crushing over it.

Hope your year is going great. So far, I lucked out on this gorgeous black velvet dress that I paid a whopping $2.50!! Yes, I know. I so love this dress because I secretly love velvet. I know that you must be careful with velvet because it is such a thick fabric. If you do not wear it correctly you risk looking heavier than you really are. There are a million ways that I want to wear this dress.

Outfit Details

I was going bar hoping with my family so I decided to keep it simple this time but I already have in mind a few other ways I plan on wearing it. I wore my gorgeous “velvet” like snake print heels because the fabric on the shoes looked really nice with the dress combined. I wasn’t going to wear a necklace but my boyfriend insisted that I wear one because it looked “too simple” ( little did he know that is what I wanted ). Since I take his input into consideration I wore this gold and black necklace and I wrapped my long chain around my hand to make it look like a necklace and ring together. I kept simple by wearing my favorite clutch/purse and a hot pink lip.
